So I had a very good friend say to me today, when I was commenting on another lady in my office who's also pregnant and always looks super cute and put together, "If I didn't know you were pregnant, I'd have never asked. You just look like you could be packing on the pounds."

...thanks. Just when I thought I was starting to look less fat and more pregnant, too.

H told me a few weeks ago that i looked more like I was getting fat than pregnant. I think he meant it like i wasn't huge like some of the other pregnant people we know, but i was still butt hurt about it for a few days.
Especially since I havent gained weight anywhere other than in my belly!

Since I'm overweight to start, I definitely have this fear that I will just look extra fat the whole time and not pregnant

I have the same fear, honey. I've had a bit of a buddha belly for a while now, and I secretly feel like when I tell people about the pregnancy, they'll say something like, "Oh, I've suspected for ages!" "Uh, but I'm only 6 weeks?" D'oh!
