Myrtle Beach this weekend

We are visiting friends in NC (Wilmington area) this weekend and our plan is to do a day trip to Myrtle Beach with them for one of the days. We want to do a bit of the beach, some mini golf, and some good food. We heard it's some type of biker weekend there so are prepared for traffic.

I was hoping we could find someplace to park for the day and just leave the car there and do everything on foot. Beach, lunch, maybe some more beach, mini golf, dinner, and some more walking around and watch the sunset on the beach- a lazyish beach day basically. Is it possible to do all this on foot? If it is where would the best place be to park the car for the day?

imo, the best food would be found in murrell's inlet which you would need to drive to. but you can certainly accomplish the beach, lunch, and minigolf all by foot if you are in central MB.
