I love how she thinks the only reason to wait til 12 weeks to tell people is if you're planning some elaborate surprise to announce it. Has she never HEARD of a mc before?! Like it really sounds like she's been living under a rock.


I havn't made it facebook offical or anything but I took the test with my husband there, we told parents, family and a few close friends already. I just believe that my friends and family should share in our joy and want them to be a support to us if something happens. I get keeping it a secret if you are planning a big surprise but I don't understand where the thinking started that you are not supposed to tell people until you are 12 weeks along.

She's wacked. Even if there wasn't the very real possibility of miscarriage I'm not telling everyone because I don't want people to talk about my uterus for the next 7 months. Privacy is a beautiful thing.

There are several chicks on my bmb who told people before the pee sticks were even dry. One even wrapped up the pregnancy test and gave it to her parents - gross.
