Has anybody tried the chat feature?

I went into the chat room, but I don't think anybody else was there...I wonder if it works?

several of us from ML tried it last night. it was neat but it moves a little too fast and it's hard to keep track of conversations and who's speaking to who. but i think you can IM people w/in the chat, so that is interesting.
