I just rubbed spf50 in my eye. It hurts.

Despite the fact that I love that I need sunblock again (aka nice weather), this isn't great.

:-( I've done stupid stuff like that before, mostly involving spicy food and then rubbing my eyes or nose.

I can relate to both sunscreen and spicy stuff in my eyes. I am not the sharpest tool in the box sometimes!

I'm sorry about the pain, but yay for good weather! I also need sunscreen AND need to buy sunscreen for DD since we don't have any kids sunscreen (I think...I am so pale I usually use spf 50 and sometiems I buy baby sunscreen).

Needle in my eye.... back in the days before glasses, I was hand-monogramming a shit ton of linen napkins for Xmas gifts. I was kinda in a zen moment just doing my thing, kinda zoning out, and the top of my nose itched so I scratched it. Completely forgeting I had a needle in my hand. Zip. Stabbed myself in the eye.

Papercut... I was helping a teacher clear up his classroom and pulled the butcher paper off the bulletin board. Some how the edge curled around and up, right in my face. I blinked, as you do by instinct, but was too late. The edge went right on top my eyeball, and the blinking caused a cut on the inside of my lid, from edge to edge, left to right.

So those, plus random dirt, sand, food particles, soaps, lotions, and small flying insects have left me in more pirate patches than I care to remember.

This made me shudder as much as the scene in the Luis Bunuel movie where they slice an eyeball with a razor. I think it might be "Un Chien Andalou." Anyway, gaaaaa!
