I think it's great that a lot of my FB "friends" are so gung-ho about getting out and voting, but I also find it hilarious/annoying that everyone feels the need to post a photo of their "I voted" sticker on FB. Anyone else's newsfeed filled with "I voted" stickers? And the funniest/scariest part is that those that are flaunting that they voted are probably the least productive members of society on a regular basis. :-| Ok, vent over!
The local polls seem to run out of stickers around 8 am. I haven't gotten one in years! So no, that's not what my feed is bogged down with lol - we have to rely on typed "I voted!"
And for the record, um, I'm pretty productive. Today I've cared for 2 little girls, worked 5.5 hours, did 2 loads of laundry and cooked 2 meals...
I'm not saying that everyone that posts something related to voting is unproductive, I'm just saying it was funny because some of my FB "friends" who posted something like this pretty much live in bars, and other elections I remember some of them saying things like they "don't believe in voting", but suddenly now they're all for it. I do agree that voter pride is a good thing, but just kind of ironic in some instances.. Lol

I know what you mean word for word..some of the biggest slackers, most unintelligent people on my facebook are all of a sudden voting experts today. It's great entertainment. One just posted a map of Mitt Romney winning every state...geez...people.
I didn't think you meant it as an affront to the avg. among us.

Thank you! And yes, the few people that are all of a sudden voting experts are highly entertaining! Those are the ones I was referring to. Lol
Varies by state. In PA it's only illegal to show someone your completed ballot before you vote, or something like that. The example they used was if you were to stream video of yourself voting live.
