How do I get the profile pic to work

What is your trick to get the pic to the left to show? I just want to put a pic from the internet on but it won't let me! WahWahWah

The image you link to must be no larger than 100x100 pixels, or you have to specify the size within that range (I think).

I tried. I just took a url for a picture that I found on a website and put it in the box; and then specified my pixels at 100X100 and I couldn't get it to work. Do I have to load it to a picture hosting site or something?

Yes, you need to load it to someplace like tinypic. It needs to be less than 100x100 and I had to hit enter rather than "modify profile" for it to work for me.

I am having the same problem; does the pic have to be saved in Photobucket or Snapfish?

tinypic is easiest. Just c&p the url and you can change it over to tinypic that way. Click on avatar (from the drop box) and it will resize it smaller for you.

I have mine from photobucket. Then use the direct URL & copy it into the URL box. I believe you do have to specify the pixel width/height.

Ex:

URL: yourpictureurlgoeshere.com
Width: 100 (whatever yours is)
Height: 100 (whatever yours is)

Photobucket doesn't work for me I selected the code for forums and message boards and C&P'd it to this site.

I used tinypic too. At first, I was trying to load from fb and it wouldn't let me.

that is my code from tiny pic but I cant get it to stay on my profile. I add it then save it, and then I go back to check it and it is gone

well it worked there but I can't get it to stay where the avatar goes! I'm about to give up

I got photobucket to work for me and I'm usually terrible with this type of stuff.
