WE ARE ADOPTING THE GIRLS!!!!!

I called ASW on a whim this morning to ask for an update and she said she is comfortable moving ahead with the adoption. A lot was discussed about Owl yesterday at the eval meeting, they are still concerned about cognitive issues and her FTT but we are being referred to a private neurologist who really wants to work with us. The therapists are all in agreement that most, if not all, of the behaviors and delays are trauma based.

ASW will be visiting on Monday and has asked that J not be here so she can get a clear picture of the relationship between Owl and I so she can have peace of mind in her decision. She will be back on Wednesday to do the adoption interview and will recommend us as the adoptive family at the TPR hearing next month.

We don't have a finalization date but we are so happy to be moving forward, this has been a hard fought battle.
