I'm trying to choose a white paint color for our trims. Any recommendations? H seems to prefer cream (BM bavarian cream) rather than white. We have lots of trims: coffered ceiling, beams, columns, wainscoting, typical Victorian trims around doors/windows, etc.
I'm thinking we should go white but there's too many white. We have BM Murasco ceiling paint except at the foyer.
We have SW Extra White, but that's because it's what the builder put in, so we're sticking to it. I don't feel like repainting all the trim in the whole house.
Our previous owners used Bavarian Cream on everything, and it is a beautiful color. It's not harsh like a "real" white, but I wouldn't call it a true cream either. Unless I was holding a piece of paper up against it, I'd call it white. My mother loved it too. I eventually stripped it off everything because we have old redwood trim that didn't deserve to be painted, but I'm keeping white woodwork in the kitchen, and I'm keeping the Bavarian Cream.
