We're planning a trip and have about an hour between when we need to check out of the hotel and when they start boarding passengers. I wasn't sure if Port Everglades has any type of restaurant or bar in it like larger airports do, or if it's just terminals and seats.
I cruised out of there. I am not even sure they have seats and probably no restaurants or bars. I remember driving up, it's just basically a terminal/gate to check in to the boat. I would try to get a slightly later check out at the hotel. I'm sure people will be there early though so you might be waiting in a line.
Hmmm I've never paid attention before. I don't think they have anything. I'd either wait in the hotel lobby or get in line - lots of people get in line early!
I asked on another board and they confirmed that it's pretty bare bones. But it's ok. Between the time it'll probably take for our shuttle to pick us up and then get where we're going, we probably won't have to wait too long. Thanks!
They start boarding way earlier than they say they do, so just go and board. But be light on your carry-ons because they were strict on when they actually let us in our cabin. We just went to Lido and had a long lunch.
We cruised out of there. There is nothing within the port. Just outside there is a cvs or walgreens and I passed a McD too but they are all outside the port.

This exactly. I usually board at 11:30am even though boarding doesn't officially start until 3 or 4. I'm always on Celebrity but I don't think this differs much by cruise line.
