I LOVE that Elena is now a vampire! The books have her as a vampire at the end of the very first one. I don't recommend the books - they suck.

So you think she'll trade off between Stephen and Damon now? 50 years with S / 50 years with D?

AND boooooo for her turning to Stephen. Bonnie, I'm glad you saved everyone but I don't forgive you for putting Klaus in Tyler's body.

I am so glad Elena is finally a vampire. I'm hoping for significantly less whining and zOMG everyone wants to kill Elena so someone else has to die moments.

I totally thought Meredith did something shady when she was talking to Jeremy at the beginning of the ep. She seemed shifty then.

I'm interested to see where the whole Tyler/Klaus thing goes. Bonnie sucks, PER USUAL.

::whispers:: I kind of prefer Elena with Stefan. Damon is hotter when he's not with her.

because omg.  i had called it that Elena was going to be vamped to kill Evilaric, and from the point we saw Meredith try so hard to convince Jeremy it was nothing (liar!) I assumed she had been given vamp blood and just waited to see how she would die.  and it was all very lovely.  
 
very ambivalent about Kyler.  Think it's going to be a good story, and Michael Trevino acted the hell out of it.
 
Props to my boyfriend Damon-Ian just knocked it out of the park in all his scenes.  I sobbed when he was holding Alaric as he died.  then /died of crying when the Ric ghost appeared.
