I have the itch to decorate for Christmas kinda early this year. I usually decorate a day or two after Thanksgiving. Can I decorate a little before Thanksgiving?
It's your house so do what you want! I personally can't decorate before Thanksgiving b/c it would just be weird to me. Also, we are hosting Thanksgiving so I still want to have a few fall things out when people come over. That being said I will decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving!
We always decorate before Thanksgiving (like the weekend before). H always works Black Friday and the weekend after Thanksgiving and I don't want to wait another week to decorate, so they go up before. If you put up decorations NOW, I might find that a little odd/early, but I think if you're talking a few days or so, I wouldn't find it weird.
You can decorate whenever you want. I have a friend who put her tree on November 1st. I personally believe in waiting until 1 holiday is over before decorating for another so I refuse to put my tree up before Thanksgiving but that is completely up to you.

I am so depressed about our lack of finding a house, and us lack of Xmas decorating. I will put out a few things but our rental house is so tiny that there is not space to do A Tree even, I don't think. Maybe a small tabletop one.
So I say go for it unless you are hosting thanksgiving dinner, of course
We host Thanksgiving, then usually put up our tree the next day. But I had Halloween decorations up in the middle of September, so I say do whatever makes you happy!
I usually wait until after Thanksgiving. I've set it up before TG before when we were going to be travelling - I think I did it on Tuesday or Wednesday before we left.
This year we're moving sometime (hopefully) the first week of December, so I guess I'll unpack Christmas boxes right away at the new house, LOL.
Just kidding. You should decorate whenever you want to! In our house, it's tradition to decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving, so I'm planning to hold out. But I have the itch, too.
Not gonna lie - I've listened to Christmas music a few days in my car. I love Christmas! We don't start decorating until the day after, partly because everything is a hassle getting out of the attic, so we like to do it all once. But I say go for it!

I kinda want to decorate early this year because the stores are already putting Christmas stuff on sale and we are changing our colors this year so I'm not sure what all we need.
Hubby likes to decorate for Christmas as soon as Halloween is over. We justify it because we're gone to his family's state for one holiday and my family's state the next. We're out of town a total of almost 2 weeks because we rotate Thanksgiving and Christmas. PLUS, in his industry, we have events on multiple weekends between now and Christmas.
So yes, our tree is up :\
No Judging!
PLUS - He got me some yummy-looking chocolate colored balls and ornaments (to help get me in the early decorating mood) so we have this pretty red and chocolate tree with some gold accents. It looks like a Chocolate covered cherry Christmas tree.
I always wait until the day after thanksgiving or that weekend, but I'm planning on putting up my outdoor Christmas lights this week. I of course will resist the urge to turn them on until after Thanksgiving
I never put out Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. For one, we usual host Thanksgiving, although we aren't this year because extended family we usually host are going to Disney(?!) instead.
Typical holiday schedule for us: Have Thanksgiving, clean up/begin taking down fall decor, sleep, go do Black Friday, nap, put away fall decor and bring out Christmas decor, and put up Christmas decor Friday afternoon/Saturday morning!
