Sleeping baby

How can Samantha will nap for 2 hours on my chest but if I put her down she'll be wide awake in minutes?

Oh I love a sleepy baby. So I'll nap too. If I have to. 😉

Because when you put her down she can't hear your heart or feel momma's warmth.

Tell me about it. Or the carseat, I guess because she fusses down and when I don't get to her right away she zonks out. I'm currently sitting in the car in a parking lot and missing yoga because she's asleep and this is likely he only nap she will get. Yesterday she slept on my lap for an hour and fifteen. That was it. I let her fuss and cry in her crib for an HOUR and there was no napping to be had. So she was pretty much up for 12 hours after a crappy night sleep. By 7pm she was DUN. Thank god she STTN last night or I'd be a mess today. They always seem to throw you a bone when you really need it.

And this is exactly why I decided that the only thing I absolutely had to have for this baby was a big, comfy, rocking, reclining chair.
(Well, and a camera upgrade.) So I can kick back and let baby sleep on my chest in total comfort. Of course, this time I will also have a very busy 4-year-old, so that changes my fantasy a little bit.

But my chair will arrive sometime before 4 today!

LOL, yes, I did. I had to compromise on the color, but I think I'll like it. I'm trusting the design expertise of a friend of mine who is much better at that stuff than I am.
