Date? It's been so long, I'm nervous. ;)

Seriously. We went out in May for our anniversary. And in June we went to a wedding (no kids) but that's different.

My parents are watching the kids Sat night and I don't know WHAT we are going to do! I feel almost like a first date---"we can't just go for dinner. That's boring."

But, we're an old married couple so it's more like "will I have anything to talk about? I am only with the kids ALL. DAY." and "can I keep my frustrations away so we don't bicker?"

Did anyone see the Everybody Loves Raymond where they go away for the weekend and have nothing to say to each other and they both think themselves are boring?

uh huh. When the kids have parents night out, we typically go to dinner and do errands. One of these days, I want to do it right and actually get dressed in something other than jeans/yoga pants and do something date like.
