Great 12 week U/S yesterday!

Little baby was moving and grooving in there already! Nice strong heartbeat (163) and measuring right at 12 weeks on the button. U/S tech wouldn't take a guess on gender - boo.

After a prior loss, this was such great news!

We have our integrated screening appt next Tuesday, I am hoping for positive news there so I can finally come clean at work. I pee every 30 mins (it seems), eat a lot and am getting pretty thick around the middle, so I feel like it's pretty obvious already - despite my big sweaters.

Also, since I had a (unplanned) c-sec last time, we decided to go ahead and schedule one for this baby. My ob said that if I tried to go VBAC I would have less than a 50% chance of success, based on what happened last time. The thought of 20+ hours of labor, then major surgery, then "here's your newborn" again wasn't very appealing. He likes to schedule at 39 weeks, so baby will arrive around May 15th. Yay!
