There are lots of things on sale and there's an extra % off sale.
I got a really pretty, expensive-looking taffeta-look Christmas tablecloth for $7 and a flannel-backed table pad for $10 (you can never find those when you're looking).
I love TM. I may check out the food processor - I am in the market for one. A few months ago I bought an enamel coated cast iron dutch oven for $40. It's flippin awesome!!
ali - are you planning to make dough in your food processor? If so you should get the 1000 watt one. Most are only 700 watts and the engine will burn out if you try to make pizza dough. Which is complete BS since they come with dough attachments.

Thanks for the tip! I have a Kitchen Aid stand mixer with a dough hook so I can do dough in there. However I know there are food processer dough recipes out there and it would be nice to have that functionality in a food processor. Something to think about.
We have a TM just down the street and I think it can be great if I am not looking for anything in particular and just want to browse. Unfortunately, I am afraid to go in there with my kids so I rarely get to go. There is just so much stuff for them to touch that it makes me really nervous.
I've never heard of this place, is it sort of like a Tj maxx/Marshalls?? I'm sure having fun browsing online...
Yep. And what they have online doesn't compare to what's in store! They have as much decor, linens, accessories as TJ Maxx, and 90% of that stuff isn't online. My store has a small section of furniture, much like TJM with accent chairs and end tables, but not the big stuff that's on the website.

I think I'll have to go over, they usually have lots of rugs. I'll talk H into it with Panda Express (just opened!) and maybe go to Target and get my red debit card too.
Is it normal for Tuesday Morning to look like a garage sale in an old lady's basement?
That's what ours is like. It's really gross.
Depends on the manager like any retail, ya know? Mine is impeccably organized.
I once lived near a TJ Maxx where it was the norm to see clothes at the fitting room return desk in giant piles on the floor - as in, the clerk was right there and dumped stuff into a heap. On the floor. Nothing wrong with any of it. You couldn't push a cart down the decor aisles because stuff had spilled down on the floor. I may have done a happy dance when I happened to be there one time the same time as a surprise inspection from corporate. I overheard the manager making the most pathetic excuses.

Next time I'm in that part of town I'll take a picture for you guys. It's a longish hallway with no windows and the grossest stuff ever, like tons of faux fur coats.
Mine is not the most pleasant place either. It really cramped and the aisles are small. I have one less than 2 miles from my house and have maybe been there 4 times. Plus, I think it's still kinda pricey.

I make pizza dough in my ancient Cuisinart Custom 11. It can't handle a 5 cup flour recipe like my SIL's 14, but it's made a batch of 3 cup dough weekly for almost 30 years. I can't find out how powerful the motor is.
