Mozzarella sticks come immediately to mind. Also chips and really good house-made salsa. Also "Scooby Snacks" at my dad's favorite restaurant, which are mini corndogs. I would never order them myself but my dad does every single time and of course I have several :-D
In vague order of preference: From a chain restaurant - Pizzeria Uno's pizza skins. From the Thai restaurant I like - the most amazing curry puffs ever 2nd choice from a chain - Outback cheese fries
It really depends on where we are. If we go for sushi we usually start with edamame or vegetable tempura. At an Italian place we'll start with calamari (we'll also get the calamari at PF Chang's). I love spinach artichoke dip but we rarely ever get that. And some times I'll just order off the appetizer menu for my main course depending on where we are.
If it were up to me? Stuffed mushrooms. Mmmmm. But L won't eat mushrooms.
We get spinach dip on occasion. The kids LOVE cheese sticks. Every once in awhile I will be in the mood for wings. When we get Asian, we get edamame (Carter could eat his weight in edamame) or spring rolls. Sometimes I get crab wontons (L doesn't eat seafood.)
