I'm wearing business-y attire today, and I'm super annoyed. We're usually a jeans and t-shirt office, but we have a big account coming in this afternoon. Company logo button down all tucked in, dress 'slacks', heels.....ugh. I'd rather be in leggings and a hoodie.
Starbucks Thanksgiving blend coffee makes me ridiculously happy. I bought a cup this morning, and have 3lbs at home.

I just sorted all the toys and put 1/3 in a bin in the basement for swapping.
Now I'm going to rearrange the playroom to move the furniture away from the radiators. This is the only room that I rearrange on a regular basis and it makes me feel like I'm 10 rearranging my bedroom.
Hondurican has this bad habit of putting his dirty dishes and dumping leftover liquids over the clean pile on my sink. Drives me nuts. It has happened three times in the last week alone! It is not that hard to tell to if dishes are dirty or clean. I hate having to rewash dishes that I just did before work after work. I finally told him last night if it happens again he will be washing my dishes in a very motherly tone. FFS, even Rubes understands dishes. Put them on the counter with the others, get them in the dishwasher like everyone else. He's a good kid he just likes to press buttons. He does it with farm stuff too.
I got Rubes a Mr. Potatohead set for Christmas from Kohls for $29.99. It has a ton of pieces and I got ridiculously excited when I saw it in Real Simple. It's probably more for me than her but whatever. The same can be said about the marble drop H had me buy for her. Oh well. Christmas is all about fun and at least they are not annoying toys!
I am wearing a Neil Diamond rocks concert t at school today. It's a classy graphic and I have a lace bottom cami and cardi with it. The kids are into it which makes me feel good. Then they follow with, "who is Neil Diamond?" That makes me feel old.

This is genius. I've been stumped at what to get babywop for Christmas. Care to share which one you got? There are 25 different sets you can get now a days, it's crazy!
How's this for random: I have "She Bangs" stuck in my head. Only it's the William Hung version so it's more like "She Bang! She bang!"
We have an event tomorrow night at the dance studio. Work is so heinous and busy these days. I really just want to opt out and stay home to do "housewife stuff." Like I want to clean and cook to get ready for my holiday dinner on Sunday.

I'm on a work iPad so it's hard to link but go to the kohls website and type in mr. Potato head. They only have like 3 options and its the first. It is the plain original with like three heads and a bunch of parts. The others are all weird Disney spin offs.
It's the Mr. Potato Head superhead toy if you want the exact name. I figure all the other crap toys are $30.00 so it was a decent enough price and Rubes loves all that tactile stuff!

Dude that thing is sweet. I might go out after work and buy it.
Lamps USA just sent me a $10 code. Maybe that will push me to buy lighting for our kitchen.
This morning I found out a new (chain) restaurant will open in my neighborhood in the next year: Another Broken Egg. Anyone know anything about it?
Final random: If anyone is dying to move to Indiana and has a JD, my uni has a chief counsel/compliance officer position open. PM for details. I doubt anyone is dying to move to IN.

Isn't it?! Lol. I can't wait until it gets here. I ordered it first thing this morning I was so excited. Kohls is way out of my way and I got free shipping because my sister asked for a bunch of kitchen stuff so I threw that in too.
I caved to advertising and got a Dunkin' Donuts Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate this morning.
I can't believe I'm going to say this, but it was too rich.
The only salted caramel anything I like is this candy target stocks at Christmas. Salted caramel anything in my drink is always way too sugary for me.
it wasn't even the sweetness - it tasted buttery. Which makes sense I guess - caramel is buttery - but this tasted like something i should be spreading on toast.
I just feel happy today because I'm wearing a super cute outfit. This dress with cognac riding boots and a cognac belt. I seem to have NO fall or winter clothes; I have no idea where they all went from last year, but apparently some elf came stole what I had...or I just wandered around naked all last year. This is going to be one of those years I ask for clothes for Christmas.

I haven't tried the dunkin' donuts version but I love the Starbucks kind. It is really rich but there is something about it that just screams winter and makes me all warm and cozy. And since it was almost 90 degrees earlier this week I am all about things that scream winter.

That outfit sounds super cute. Hopefully you locate some more winter clothes soon because that naked thing could be bad news. I hear it is frowned upon in most places and it could probably get a little cold.
Two randoms- 1) I had a dream last night that some couple was getting married behind my grandpa's old barn and they hadn't asked permission so we had to go talk to them before grandpa found out and got all bent out of shape. The couple didn't really want to get married but everyone was telling them they had to for some reason. I ended up giving them a marriage counseling session and helping the groom write his vows. I am not sure when I became a marriage counselor but I was pretty impressed with myself. Also, the vows I helped write were pretty awesome. Too bad I woke up before the actual wedding. I bet it would have been lovely.
2) We have these daily deals that get emailed out in my town. One is from the newspaper and the other is from a local tv station. They were both good today so I bought them both and I am excited to use them. $10 for $5 at ColdStone Creamery and $10 for $5 at Togo's sandwiches (I really like their turkey, bacon, & avocado sandwich). Yay for deals!
I'm being brave a cooking a whole turkey for a group of friends on Sunday. I'm only slightly freaked out. I need to push myself though. I've done a Turkey breast for 4 people plenty of times successfully and I have a recipe that is tried and true by others. Should be fine......yup....should be fine

First PP period SUCKS. Combine that with all the stress of going back to work, H with strep, baby with colic, moving in 2 weeks and having to pack up an entire house while still being able to live in the house, side business has orders I need to do AND my day job in complete limbo (STILL!) and I want to vomit everywhere from the stress.

Emo, I BF'd so I didn't get my first period for 8? months. Even at that, I was sooo angry! Ugh.
Another random: I just bought 6 pairs of xxl cute lacy hipster underwear at JCP. $2 each and I had $10 in rewards to spend. Stupid, but none of my cute maternity underwear fit and I'm sick of the xxl Hanes cotton ones being baggie in the arse.
I am just happy to have no real plans and a 3 day weekend ahead of me. My hubby is still recovering from his back surgery but he is feeling a bit better each day.

I've stopped the urge to vomit but now I want to cry. If I had an RN/LPN or was a little better with numbers, I would have my choice of jobs right now!

1. Two nights in a row now, I've had dreams about the board ladies (not THAT kind of dreams, LOL). In one, we were having a national GTG in MN and it was, essentially, a sleepover. The other, we were shopping at some mall - all of us - and had a near-fight in the bedding department over thread counts. Hahaha. This is made more amusing to me by the fact that I have absolutely no idea what most of you look like.
2. I went back to the gym for strength and spin this week (as opposed to just swimming and running during the summer) and I am freaking SORE. But I've dropped a LOT of weight this week, so I'm happy to see that.
3. I have been itching to get into a (verbal) fight for a while now and everyone on my FB is so ... respectful. It's really annoying. LOL
