I'm reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. I gave it a try a couple of months ago and didn't get very far, so I'm picking it back up now and I seem to be in the right mood for it now.
Still listening to Atlas Shrugged. I think I may actually be past the halfway point.
I'm finishing up The Father of Forensics: The Groundbreaking Cases of Sir Bernard Spilsbury, and the Beginnings of Modern CSI. And since I'm apparently on a big early 20th Century England kick, next up is Consuelo and Alva Vanderbilt: The Story of A Daughter and A Mother in the Gilded Age.
I Feel Bad About My Neck and Other Thoughts on Being a Woman by Nora Ephron.
I loved this! You're reminding me I should give it to a bunch of people for Christmas.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Mark Twain

I'm finishing up Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Even though I hate every single character, I can't put it down.
I'm also still plugging away at Catherine the Great by Robert K. Massie. I hope to have more time for this one once I get caught up on all my library books.
Just started Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor! (Sequel to Daughter of Smoke and Bone.) It came out on Monday, I think, but I had some other things to finish.

Consuelo and Alva Venderbilt is on my to-be-read list as well. If I were not working to finish a series so I can leave the books with my Dad when I'm home, I would be reading it right now.
Currently though I'm reading Blood and Circuses, a Phryne Fisher mystery by Kerry Greenwood. Really, check then out if you can. There are many more good series/authors than make it to the bookstores/shelves in the US.

I just picked this up at the library yesterday. I'm so excited to read it!

Same here. I loved Daughter of Smoke and Bone, so I got Days of Blood and Starlight just yesterday. I just finished Dog Stars, which I HATED, and Bumped, which I thought was OK, but kind of made me scared for the election (I don't want to turn this into a political board, so I won't get into it).
