I'm in I need to: -Make serious progression on BIL's blanket (like 4-5 rows or more) -Hopefully finish the body on a turtle I'm making, or at least half the body (I'm 8 rows in on the head) -Laundry
So nothing really D&R but still things that need to be done.
We took down our guest bedroom door about 4 months ago to replace - never got to it. That was my plan for this weekend. Then my roommate from college wanted to come visit this weekend, so I told her she wouldn't have a bedroom door tonight, until we get it up tomorrow. Hope she doesn't mind!
So far, this would probably make the best photographic evidence.
To be fair, my house is a disaster right now anyways. Between working, having a sick husband and a colicky baby, I will likely catch up on laundry next June.
I'll join! We are supposed to steam clean one single room of carpet on Saturday. I realize that does not seem like a big deal but I've been reminding DH about it for months and months and he has been dragging his feet. It's getting done tomorrow if I have to drag the steamer home from Lowes and do it myself.
Really don't know how I can show that in a photo though.
I need to swap out my closet from summer to winter. In my defense, this hasn't been done yet because we're still swinging from highs in the 80s to the 40s - I wish the weather would decide on a season and stick there.
I also have 1900 loads of laundry to do. Almost everything I own is dirty.
But I have to study for exams and go to the last home football game of the season, so I really don't know if either one will happen My mom's coming to visit on Wednesday, so maybe my mommy could do some laundry for me? Lol, I'm terrible that I'm 30 and still ask my mom to do my laundry!!

I'm in! DH is going to work on bathroom stuff so I said I'd take care of DD, but I still want to: -deliver countertop to my friend (we had extra and she's buying it from me)
-oil countertops installed as window seats before they get ruined.
-clean out guest room leaving only bathroom renovation stuff in there.
Big project this weekend is turning an unused, awkward space on our lower level into a mudroom-type space.
Otherwise, I need to finish buying craft and favor bag stuff and make pizza dough and bake it into individual size crusts for DD's party next weekend, and do some pre-sorting of DD's outgrown clothes for a friend who's coming to "shop" on Monday.
No D&R for me this weekend. Headed down to see my parents before they haul their snowbirding asses to FL.
I will get to see my last sewing project in vivo- custom covers for her sunporch settee, chaise, and 5 other chairs as well as silk panels for her french doors. So I'm excited for that. And to see my parents, sort of.
Maybe tomorrow if I get home early I can trim my butterfly bushes that got trashed in the hurricane/snow the past couple weeks.
It's a 4-day weekend for me. Yesterday I accomplished a bunch:
Bought a chandelier for our dining room, thanks to a sale at Overstock + the Livingsocial deal I'd just bought.
Had a heating system tuneup in advance of winter
Had our internet company come out and fix our internet
Installed a new ceiling fan and hung a new mirror
Scheduled our holiday photos for next weekend (in our backyard ... eep!)
Raked the backyard
Laundry and vacuuming
Unfortunately, today I'm definitely feeling unmotivated and I was hoping to get some projects done since H is out of the house all day.
Finish painting the master bedroom closet
Clean out all the cabinets and drawers in the guest bedroom and line them with fresh drawer liner (whoever lived here before us lined every cabinet/drawer in this house with hideous floral wallpaper...this is the last of it)
Clean the guest bedroom, aka the junk-pileup room
Trim all the hedges in the front yard
Shop for (inexpensive) new art for the kitchen at HomeGoods or Ross or the like
