I know we've talked about this but I have to vent. She won't take a nap. Everrrrrrr. Unless she's in the car. That does nothing for my personal hygiene. I'm going to have to start showering at the gym. I'm going to need a gym bag. Getting a fun new bag is one positive. And having the Y membership is another. Ok see. I feel better already.

LMAO. Just put her in a bouncer or excersaucer, next to the shower, and go clean yourself!

That is where I created "Lila's song".... I was in the shower and she was getting fussy. Surprisingly, it calmed her down immediately and has worked every since.

I can lick her in her bouncer near the bathroom but the baby needs a damn nap. She's too cranky to stay put in it. So I put her in her crib asleep and she stands and screams. Then chills. Then lays down. Then stands and screams. Etc. sometimes she goes to sleep but i feel like its been weeks. Lately I give up and get her and her face is drenched with boogs and tears. She's never going to sleep like that. So I try to feed her. She throws whatever I give her across the room. She's exhausted. So I'll put her in the car to try to go somewhere and she'll fall asleep and I'll sit in the car doing nothing for an hour so she will nap and not be cranky. Her new thing is putting her hand on her forehead like "omg". Maybe she sees me do it. But I wonder if she has a headache. Do babies get headaches?

This morning Ellie was actually napping and I had to wake her to take her to the pedi for shots. I seriously, seriously considered canceling that appt last minute because OMG IF SHE'S SLEEPING DON'T WAKE HER.

Also, my phone is filled with pictures like the ones you posted! Poor baby.

I used to put Lily in the car for a drive specifically to put her to sleep. It was the only way that worked. I'm sure it was bad practice, but it was a phase and it's over now.

OMG, that doesn't even look like her in the 2nd picture! Who IS that baby? Poor you! I like that you "lick" her in her bouncer, that's so mama mammal of you. I'm sorry, I couldn't help it...hope it made you laugh in your current stressed out situation!

Lol that baby was one who desperately needed to be this baby but whose mom sucks at getting her there during the afternoon time. So here we are.
