PF has flared up in my right foot. I saw the podiatrist two weeks ago and got a cortisone shot.. which helped with the pain in the arch of my foot, but now I've got pain in my heel.
I've taped, I've iced, I'm wearing orthotics and taking anti-inflammatories... and seeing the podiatrist again tomorrow.
I have a half in 10 days. Can anyone recommend any heel cushions or anything for my shoes? Pain or no pain (preferably no pain).. I'm running it... and then I don't have another race until September.

How bad is it? When I had PF, it was really bad in the morning, but got better after I warmed up, and I could tolerate running on it. If your race is 10 days, you may be able to hang on.

It does get better after I warm up, stretch and ice. It just s u c k s because it was so much better after the cortisone and then flared up on Saturday. I just taped it up and did 2 miles on it and it wasn't that bad as long as I didn't think about it.
