Last night was my first on ramp class and it was so interesting to me and very challenging at the same time. I like learning new things about fitness and I have never lifted weights so it's all new to me. I'm sore today but it's so worth it. Everyone seems pretty nice there. When my class was over another class was getting ready and OMG I want to look like the girls in the class. They are all so lean and cut. Hopefully I have this same additude when my on ramp is over and I start the big boy classes.

I did my onramp last month and I remember thinking the exact same thing! I was already lifting light weights and using resistance bands (at boot camp, 5 days a week) when I started CrossFit. The five months of boot camp did less for me than just 6 weeks of CrossFit. I'm stronger, leaner, fitter, lighter...it's all good stuff.
It is completely addicting once you start! I usually go on wednesday nights but can't go tonight because of a work function...I'm all jittery thinking about missing it!
If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. - Bruce Lee
