I'm usually a gadget geek. Not as bad as my SIL (she wants ALL THE NEW THINGS RIGHT NOW) but I do like my new iPhone 5, I've had a PS3 for a few years, etc.
Now that I'm pregnant, my gadget thing has apparently switched to baby gear. I know I shouldn't want this car seat, it's way more money than a Maxi Cosi Pria... but damn, if it doesn't look cool. And the safety features sound useful too, of course.

lol I like the name. It does look pretty cool though. I like the rear-facing adjustments.
Gadgets are more DH's department. He was saying the other night that he wants to mount his old iPad behind the tv in our bedroom so he can stream a video monitor right to the tv when we are sleeping. I told him maybe mounting it to the wall wasn't the best idea but it sounds like that might be cool.
Dh wants video monitor with sound so he can hear baby and when they are older tell them to go back to sleep instead of getting out of bed to check what they are doing. Lol

Don't show me that stuff I'm trying to SAVE money!
I seriously always thought we'd have a boy and enjoy the boy clothes and toys more, but I went a little crazy yesterday buying girl clothes. I guess they CAN be cute
MH is all into researching the baby monitors right now. He loves gadgets and we own almost every major Apple product so now he's researching and comparing the Apple baby monitors. It might be a great option for us since we both have iPads and iPhones and you can stream the video and sound to them through an app.
Jessuh, girl clothes are the CUTEST. Boy clothes are all kind of eh. They're not bad, but they're really more practical than adorable. And then when you try to get something adorable, like how I found this knitted hat that looks like an acorn top? They send it to you in OMG SUPER HUGE SIZE. Seriously, H could wear that thing. The kid won't be wearing it until he's probably 10, and what kid is going to want to wear something adorable at 10?
