Thanks to those who suggested Vanguard

I went ahead and opened an account with them the other day.

I can't wait to have enough $ in there to actually diversify a bit! Right now I've only funded the 5k max and most of the funds have a 3k minimum so that's a bit of a bummer, but my 401k rollovers should be there any day so I'll have a lot more cash to invest.

They were very helpful and friendly when I called with a very basic question - so much nicer than the company that holds my last 401k.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Vanguard. I wish my 401k options could be there!

Same here. They have great customer service IMO...even for the small dog investors like me!

I don't invest a ton there, but they've been nothing but helpful in the 10 years I've had my IRAs there.
