In light of the cp/losses lately, and for the women on here feeling bummed about ttc at all, I thought I'd share something that comforted me the other day. Take it for what it is, and if it can help anyone here with losing the blues for a mo, then yay.
My mom has said (she doesn't know about our plans; but we were discussing ttc in general terms) that when she was ttc she never thought about how long it would take, or assumed something was wrong with her if it didn't go her way right away.
She said to remember that the most important thing isn't "getting pregnant". It's getting pregnant with a healthy baby. Losses are awful, and bfn month after month are discouraging. But a healthy set of cells won't implant and stick around, and that is what everybody wants; a healthy, happy baby.
This really cheered me up the other day, thinking in those terms. I hope it helps at least one of you who is feeling down these days.
({) (}) for the losses, and the bfn this cycle
Thanks, wine. That does help. I read the link about CPs that blindy put up and it talked about how CPs often happen because of an abnormality of cells. I guess that makes sense.
I also liked that they talked about the grieving process that goes along with it. A loss is a loss. Sometimes even when it's just a BFN to begin with.
