You just do. It's not like there is anything you can do about it at that point. I mope around for a while, then I figure out what the plan will be for the next cycle. Temp? OPK's? Sex EOD? Etc etc. Getting out of the house helps too, as doing something helps you not dwell on it.

Unfortunately you are in the most unpredictable part, being your first cycle off of BC. Your could be anywhere between now, day 45, or longer. I didn't get my period for more than 60 days off BC and had to go to the doc for an rx to trigger things.
Use this time to start reading up on Fertilty Friend or Taking Charge of Your Fertility.
It always sucked for a day or so and then I always thought about the next cycle right away too. What I could try differently, etc. And that I could then drink some more

If I remember correctly, you're just coming off BC. My first cycle off was 30 days, then the next was 32, then 34, then I had a 45 day cycle! It can take a while for your body to 'catch up' to making it's own hormones.
The first few cycles of BFN were probably the hardest. Now, I'm just used to seeing one line, and move on. It doesn't completely consume my thoughts like it used to. Like PP said, you deal with it because you have no other choice, really.
I also try to focus on some reasons why that cycle wouldn't have been ideal to get pregnant, or why the next month will be better. For example - if I get pg next cycle, I'll be able to take maternity leave Aug - Dec and won't have to pay for day care in 2013. I also have a trip to Chicago planned in a few weeks, and it will be nice to enjoy some good food and not be exhausted in first tri. If I can't think of any good reason why the BFN cycle is OK, then I buy myself a sympathy gift, LOL.
