This is our first year doing a lot of outdoor decor and I'm confused about a couple of things. If you have any insight I'd appreciate it!
I'm doing window candles + wreaths for the windows. For a double window (two mulled together) should I do one wreath or two? I also have some triple mulled windows but I think I'll just do one wreath because the side windows are small.
I'd like to wrap our white pillars with red ribbon. Is there are a particular kind I need to look for that won't stain wood if they get wet? Or should I just skip?
For our doubles I'm treating them as two separate windows. We don't have any triples, but we do have a bay window and I'd probably do one larger wreath in your case.
No clue on the red ribbon - red dyes are very bleedy so it's definitely a risk. What about garland accented with a red ribbon?

Not sure about the ribbon - but definitely don't skimp so you don't have a nightmare come spring. I like garlands on columns.
I think the double window question depends on the look w/your house. If it would look more uniform to put a wreath on each window, then I would do that.
Good luck! This is our first Christmas in the house so I'm just starting to think about the plan for the outdoor display. Running extension cords in a non-ugly, dangerous way is always such a challenge.
