Well - the front yard got cleaned up (no pics b/c I didn't do it, DH did and just as he was finishing up it started to rain really hard).

But my ornament orders are still waiting to be completed because my parents felt bad for backing out on us Fri/Sat so they came over Sun - which meant I didn't get as much done as I wanted to.

I have a turtle head, body, and 1 1/2 legs done. He should finish up rather quickly. I got 3 rows done on BIL's throw and will get more done tonight since T is closing. And I got three loads of laundry done

I was going to take a picture when I stopped at home to grab the makeup bag I forgot this morning, but I left my phone in the car. AND I ripped a huge hole in my leggings this morning (not near the seam, so I know it wasn't me just being too big for my pants lol) so it was one of those mornings.

I got 5 boxes packed up! Not much, but it's a start. I also appliqued 2 shirts and had a good long nap with Baby W on Sunday, so I think it was a good weekend.

I re-organized the shelving in our laundry/utility room, did quite a bit of laundry, and made 40 freezer friendly pizza pockets for my DH for on-the-go eating! Not really D&R but stuff that needed to get done

I failed! I wanted to finish my stockings and clean my office. I sewed one stocking and realized that once sewn, they were tiny so I have to start over. I made some headway in my office but it's still a disaster.

I did, however, write out all of my Christmas cards, purged my closet, and did a lot of laundry.

I didn't really do much TBH. The weather was awesome with temps in the 60's, so we spent time outside. I did clean out my car a little and I made homemade cinnamon rolls, so the weekend wasn't a total loss.

Love the pillows! If you repeat the coral/red/pink (can't tell) from your curtains in something on the coffee table (flowers, books, accessories), I think it'll really pull everything together.

And I washed and folded 2 loads of laundry. 3 more are sorted on the kitchen floor

We were a total fail, and it was all my fault. I dragged R around to every store in a 30 mile radius looking for a Christmas present for my mother. And didn't find one until 4:30pm yesterday. So no cleaning of the office for us.

We went furniture shopping for a media cabinet. We're 95% sure we're getting this one:

It's about 6" taller, 3" deeper, and 18" longer than the sofa table that's there. I think that will be a good size.

We also bought a new vacuum and I put up all the outdoor Christmas lights since it was warm. I will turn them on closer to the holidays.

We cleaned out the future play/guest room and DH has it setup as a work area. No pics.

I delivered the counter top to my friend! Yes $169!

And I sanded and oiled the window seat. Pics:





Plus I moved DHs clothes to my closet to make room for baby 2s stuff, played switcheroo with all of our indoor & outdoor dining tables & chairs, went to the pool and target w DD!
Oh and I also finished my website side job!

lol, let's see if it bears out when we try to do a "family picture" for Christmas cards later this week. I'm going to try it with a tripod and the 10 sec delay. Wish me luck, because I will need it!

I'm not sure whether he actually loves the camera or is just in so many because he follows me around. I have a blond furry shadow.

Some people say uninstall and reinstall the app. I did and still isn't an option. ;( I use the photobucket app or tiny pic since you can still insert them from a URL.

Great job on the pillows! I have the EXACT same gray pillows but paired with yellow chevron instead of blue on my couch.

I got my painting (master closet) all done. I also did all the yardwork I needed to, and cleaned and lined all the bathroom cabinets.

There are still a couple things on my To Do list I didn't get to this weekend, even though it was a four-day weekend for me. I blame it on the yardwork making me too exhausted to do ANYTHING yesterday.

We .....
-sanded, primed, and painted our banister. what a pain in the butt. We still have to do the spindles white, but we need to let the black paint cure before we can tape off around the spindles so we'll tackle that in a couple weeks. The spindles are primed, just need paint. hours of annoying work but it looks so much better!

-Repaired and primed a dresser. Need to buy paint for it this week

-Hung a few things on our living room collage wall

-Got the nursery prepped for painting

-Got the office junk room mostly cleaned up

I don't have pics right now, but we did get the mudroom functional this weekend. We still need to add some trim on the upper edge of the beadboard, and I'm debating whether or not to make a cushion for the bench, but we've already started dumping shoes, coats and bags in there instead of by the door.

We did end up having to demo the "built-in" shelves that were in there and keeping the lower portion as the bench. We have no idea how they got the unit in there, other than assembling it in the tiny space and removing the door jambs (no sign of it if they did) before sliding it into place. The geometry of it all just isn't possible.

Other projects:
-cleaned out the baby's room, gave a bunch of DD's outgrown clothes to a friend
-got some prep for DD's birthday party done
-started rearranging/shifting where we store things in the house
