Miso and other foodies re: taking photos of food

I need to go to Daniel. LOL.

To be honest, the few times I've been in kitchens, I haven't had to ask. I've been invited in when the server, host, or chef sees my camera.

Restaurant photography is not uncommon where I live. Any good food blogger never uses flash and is very fast about her photos.

The most important thing is still the food, not the photos. You want to eat it as immediately as possible!

Good to know Sean Brock's take on the matter, since I just took photos at Husk.

I knew about RJ Cooper's dislike of the photos when we went to Rogue 24, so I refrained. But I did link to their recent photos of their new menu in my blog post about it.
