For the last five I've read ...
1) The Devil's Highway, Luis Alberto Urrea: 5 stars (it went onto my best-of-the-best list) 2) Last Night at the Lobster, Stewart O'Nan: 4 stars 3) The Song of Achilles, Madeline Miller: 2 stars 4) Zone One, Colson Whitehead: 4 stars 5) Swamplandia!, Karen Russell: 2 stars
1. An Uncommon Education by Elizabeth Percer: 2 stars 2. Hunger Games (reread): I originally gave it 4, so I didn't change that. Should be more of a 3, probably. Well plotted, not well written. 3. The Year of the Gadfly by Jennifer Miller: 4 stars 4. Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver: 2 stars 5. Falling Together by Marisa de los Santos: 3 stars

1) Ready Player One: 5 stars (I basically only gave it 5 stars because it was a fun/nostalgic read. The story itself probably isn't so great, but I loved reading it.) 2) Insurgent: 4 stars 3) Madame Tussaud: 5 stars (LOVED this one!) 4) In a Sunburned Country: 4 stars 5) God Bless You Mr. Rosewater: 4 stars
I can't decide if I really am reading a lot of great books these days or if I'm just a lot nicer with my star ratings than I used to be.
11/22/63 by Stephen King- 5 stars (God, I love that man!) Let's Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson - 4 stars (it is what it is... but it was funny!) The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood (reread) - 5 stars The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald (reread) - 5 stars
The Magicians, Lev Grossman - 3.5 stars A Monster Calls, Patrick Ness - 5 stars Will Grayson, Will Grayson, John Green and David Levithan - 4 stars Insurgent, Veronica Roth - 3.5 stars Ask the Dust, John Fante - 4.5 stars

I've been on a Harry Potter marathon. I've read up through Order of the Phoenix. Prisoner of Azkaban and Order of the Phoenix get 5 stars and the rest get 4. This is the first time I have read Harry Potter and I am loving it.
