I do, because I lovey-love baby names and the baby name board. But DAYUM, after being over here so long, I can hardly stand the layout of their message boards.

Seriously, having the "new" button, and that topics get bumped when someone replies... Its life changing! Haha. It's really not user friendly over there.

The only thing this place doesn't do, that I wish it did, is somehow show me if I've replied in a thread or not. Like change colors or something if I've posted in a thread. So that I know if I care to reopen it again, kwim?

And yes, I'm on Names and am active there. (I voted on your neat poll - I wish everyone would do that style of poll!) I lurk on Nurseries & Baby Gear - I'm a little OCD about excess clutter, so just thinking of all the crap a baby needs makes my palms get sweaty, so I'm trying to research stuff to death.

I was totally bored and lazy when I made that last night. I had about 15 more productive things I could have been doing. But nope. This recent BFP/CP has put my name-nerdiness into full on obsession.

Now that Pinterest has come out with secret boards, yes, I have dozens of pins on how to corral STUFF lol.

Nope, this is the sn I've had since 2006 (gasp). Well, technically my name there is TarHeels&Rebels, but my siggy is the same.

I've been a name nerd since middle school (apparently I was going through a colonial phase in my childhood with names like Ethan and Benjamin and Felicity and Charlotte...all names that are desperately popular now ) So now that I have any remotely legitimate reason to talk names, I enjoy it

I remember I must have been maybe 9 years old and I was feeling odd because I had gotten these itty bitty quintet dolls and I gave all of them elegant names, but the name Daisy came to me for the last one. I knew "one of these is not like the other" and I was very much worried about her future in the "community" because her name wouldn't take her as far in life as her sisters Caroline and Daphne. Lol!! I was one helluva precocious kid

I occasionally read the IF boards (Trouble Trying to Conceive and Infertility) and the Adoption board.

I hate that links don't automatically open a new page and that I don't get a preview when I hoover over the thread.

As for the original question, I never posted on the bump to begin with because I was not ttc or planning on starting this soon even. My plans changed

Anyways, the bump sort of freaked me out when I lurked and made me think that half the people on there were teenagers because some of the questions were just so...WOW.

That being said, that's a very broad generalization and there has got to be someone on there with some sense.
