I think I just ruined my Le Creuset

Grr. I'm so mad at myself. I was steaming some stuff on the stove, walked away got distracted and came back to a hot mess. Literally.

The bottom of the enamel got too hot. There are a few pieces of paint stuck to the burner and I can see the iron on a few small spots on the bottom.

Is the pot totally ruined and going to rust now? Is there anything I can do to save it?

I have a few other LC pieces and this is the first time something like this has happened.

I ended up contacting the store that I bought it from and they let me exchange it for a new one. Yay!
