Vents/complaints/etc go here.
Mine: My boss is late with my paycheck transfer. Again. I love my job and the flexibility it offers but I HATE that my paycheck is unpredictable both in the amount I receive - because I'm independent and can only bill for work completed - and the freaking day I receive it. I'm supposed to get paid on the 7th and 22nd of each month. And I have been paid anywhere from 3-4 days early to 3-4 days late. Unfortunately, bills don't work like that, and it makes budgeting/paying expenses difficult at times.

Oh that blows.
I had a TV dinner (fried boneless chicken & potatoes), a small container of carrots and about half the small container of grapes I brought for lunch and I still feel sick to my stomach.
Also, I put H as the alternate pick-up for the nightstands I ordered site-to-store from Walmart (judge away!) and it ratted me out to him. And I have a list of things to buy for staging our house tomorrow so it's a good thing we're road tripping to the city tomorrow! (H has an iPhone issue and the closest Apple store is in Leawood/KC, so we're driving to visit my sister and grandparents and then going to get a new phone and shop a bit.)

We have been out of our house since December when our furnace had a puff back. Insurance paid some but not all repairs (i.e. they paid us to replace walls that had to be gutted but not the installation of insulation and updating wires). Ok. Fine. Problem. We have run out of $$ and what is keeping me from moving back is having all those wires connected......which could take my brother - THE ELECTRICIAN - a day. He's too busy, i live to far, blah blah blah. when he needs something we are there front and center but when it comes to me, sis or mom he never steps up to the plate. So now we have to wait to save $$$ to hire someone to do that for us. I am more upset with myself for trusting he'd show up the first 10 times he said he would.

I wish the "it's 5 o'clock somewhere" was applicable to not only alcohol (which I am not having) but to also closing time. Calgon take me away from awful people who blame me for their insurance lapsing. (Hey, I called you once and talked to you a second time right when it went cancel notice. Not my problem, jerk.)
Oooh, I love whiner wednesday and I've been dying to whine all day!
1. H is still in the hospital post-appendix removal and likely won't be home until Friday. I'm waking up at 5:30 to get to the hospital, going to work for a bit, and then staying at the hospital until 9-ish. I've had no time to do anything around the house. 2. Stupid electrician isn't returning my phone calls. I need to discuss the lights he's installing next Tuesday and let him know that we want two more than originally planned. I do not have time to make multiple calls to give you additional business. See point #1. 3. The crap home inspector who missed an electrical issue hasn't returned my phone call, nor has my slacker REA who swore she'd have the window frame fixed post-closing. Lesson learned - everyone lies!

It's almost Thursday but I'm whining anyway.
I'm so ready to buy another house and have a little more breathing room and a good long time to get settled there before we even think about spawning. But as we get closer to actually doing it- putting in an offer, getting another mortgage and spending a good chunk of our savings- I'm scared shitless and think this is going to take a looooong time #firstworldproblems
Also, it's only effing Wednesday?! (almost Thursday...) this stupid week has been so busy with boring projects at work that it feels like it should be NEXT week Wednesday by now!
AND! I have a list a mile long of crap I want to do/ finish/ fix at the house before the giant joint b'day bash that we're hosting and wahhhhh it's too long! Overwhelmed!! I absolutely need to cut some of this junk off of the list.

Oh oh, one more! I'm so sick of people coming to me to fix their problems/ answer their questions at work before even doing the most cursory attempt at figuring it out on their own! I sent the "office manager" (right, she totally deserves that title) away from me THREE times with options on where to look for her answers and finally told her to GO BACK to her desk and DO NOT bring it to me until she'd looked *everywhere* for the answer first (the flipping jerk hadn't even searched her emails before coming to me. SERIOUSLY?! I am HER superior, not the other way around! It's her job to figure this piddly shit out, not mine!)
