I am one of three class parents. The teacher emails all three of us at the same time about things she needs. When she updates the blog, she emails the whole class. Some how these silly folks, can't seem to read. I have no less than 5 email about the "Thanksgiving party." The teacher talked to all three of the class parents on Halloween about the Friendship Feast and what she needed from us. She sent out an email telling parents there is a sign-up list on the blog a day or two later. I sent out a reminder on Friday. I still got an email from the other two room parents. Lets call them P1 and P2.
P1 emailed me on Friday asking if we are having a party for Thanksgiving. I emailed back explained again what the teacher needed and wanted to do. She replies and ask what does she need to bring. I directed her to the blog. She emailed Monday asking about a Thanksgiving party. :headmotherfuckingdesk:
P2 emails me to see what to bring. I direct her to the blog. SHE CALLED ME to tell me she sent me an email. I am not talking two days later, because I didn't reply. The email is stamped at 1047 my phone shows a call at 1050. She does this EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.
Instead of reading the emails , they email each other or the teacher. The teacher is going bonkers. I am going bonkers. I don't know what to do. I can't be any more clear. I am making each email fool proof as possible. I am giving extremely detailed information about everything. I just want to scream "READ THE DAMN BLOG AND EMAILS BEING SENT OUT!" It is to the point where I think I am going to step down. I don't have time to re-explain everything everyday. I think I am going to use me going back to work as the excuse. I really enjoy spending time in the class with Allie, but I think my mental state can't take much more.

That would drive me absolutely nuts. It seems as if they have reading comprehension issues, or are just too lazy to remember things from one day to another. Ugh.

Honestly, this is why I don't volunteer in J's classroom. I sign up for specific activities (like book fair or auction), but stay out of the classroom.
