I have a couple t shirt with the side rouching. When I wear them my arm gets completely raw where it rubs. One day my arms were red and burning and I couldn't figure it out. Next time I wore that shirt same thing. By mid day the undersides of my arms had a stripe down them of red bumps and my skin burned for 2 days. The texture rubbing on my arms all day is too much I guess. So weird! Anyone else ever notice this or is it just a fat girl thing maybe?
nope, I haven't noticed that. But all my side ruched shirts the rouching doesn't start until about my elbow (if my arms are at my sides) I'd guess my lower arms don't touch my torso enough for it to be a problem.
I'm thinking about it peach - and I don't think it is.
I think it's a desk job vs. not desk job kinda thing. If I spent all day moving around I'd probably have the same problem. Well...not that i'm super svelt or anything, so...well I guess take this for what it's worth.
Anyway I've had to change my bra halfway through the day while working on the house because the side seam at the was rubbing the underside of my upper arm raw. I think being pregnant and things shifting around brings your parts in contact with each other in ways they aren't used to, so the sensitive skin that isn't used to being rubbed is easily chafed.
I am in motion all day....I get a few minutes here and there to post here; I leave my laptop open on the kitchen counter and I stop to sip coffee and read every once in a while. But overall, I am moving constantly...maybe thats why. If I wear long sleeved ones I am fine, but the t shirt ones are no go..

yup, I'm positive that's the problem. Before the weather turned when I was trying to work on the house in tank tops and such I was always finding new random chafey bits. But on a normal work day I have to set an alarm on my computer so I remember to get up and move around for a few minutes every hour or so. Otherwise I end up sitting completely stationary for 4 hours at a time. The only thing that moves is my hands on the keyboard.

I wish I could just cut a hole in a tarp to wear and be done with it. I'm so sick of maternity clothes. I find something that mostly fits and a week later it is killing me. I found cute underwear that don't feel like they are cutting me in half, but they make my pants fall off. I give up!! Ugh. I don't have too many side ruched shirts, so I'm no help.

Amen.
Lately my full-belly panel pants are annoying the crap out of me. They press into the top of my belly and make me feel like I'm being squeezed. But under belly pants fall down and chafe on my delicate stretched out under-belly skin. I spend all day moving the top of the belly panel around.

I just keep thinking about my post-preg body. Last time was AWESOME. I felt the sexiest I ever have. I lost my weight quickly and then some due to breast feeding. PLUS, I had awesome boobs (I'm very flat chested normally.)

Ugh, I HATE underbelly pants. I have to constantly hitch them up all day. I was wearing a belt, but now I'm too big for it. Grr. Overbelly pants are the only ones I can wear and not worry about flashing people all day.
I think it may do with your constant moving. I wear them a lot and don't have issues but I work a desk job. Have you tried maybe putting cocoa butter on in the morning so your skin isn't dry? It may help!
