I am debating getting my pups teeth cleaned. I was quoted $800 each (1600 total) by my regular vet for my dogs. That's a lot of money! I have a coupon for another local reputable vet for teeth cleaning for $250 each, includes anesthesia and blood work . Why do you think such a difference? What have you been quoted or paid?

B had his teeth cleaned in Oct and our regular vet quoted me about $500 with no extractions, more if there were any. That included the blood work, anesthesia, monitoring and aftercare. I had them do the blood work since they were taking blood for other tests.
I paid about $200 for a cleaning and one extraction with anesthesia and monitoring at the vet's office my sister works for, so that she could be the tech that was with him. I don't know what the blood work alone was since it was done with other blood tests.
