Price of teeth cleaning?

I am debating getting my pups teeth cleaned. I was quoted $800 each (1600 total) by my regular vet for my dogs. That's a lot of money!
I have a coupon for another local reputable vet for teeth cleaning for $250 each, includes anesthesia and blood work .
Why do you think such a difference?
What have you been quoted or paid?

Haha no , they are Cavalier King charles spaniels, little dogs! hmmm ok, so I'm not along thinking the $800 is really high!

My 30lb corgi was about $300.00 for his teeth cleaning. $800.00 is a bit high for my comfort.

How bad are their teeth? Raw bones work wonders so that may be something to look into and it's certainly cheaper! Plus, no anesthesia involved.

When we had our dog's done it was in the $200 range (she's a med/large dog).

B had his teeth cleaned in Oct and our regular vet quoted me about $500 with no extractions, more if there were any. That included the blood work, anesthesia, monitoring and aftercare. I had them do the blood work since they were taking blood for other tests.

I paid about $200 for a cleaning and one extraction with anesthesia and monitoring at the vet's office my sister works for, so that she could be the tech that was with him. I don't know what the blood work alone was since it was done with other blood tests.
