(If you don't know why it's a year: I'm in school and we need a summer baby.)
I had really hoped the B100 and progesterone cream would work for me this cycle, but no real dice. I normally start spotting 6-7 DPO. This cycle, 8 DPO. So, it's a one day improvement. And there were some other minor improvements in a couple personal symptoms, and that was nice. The B100 did move O up 2 days, but didn't make my cycle any longer overall.
The really cruel part is that I've had pretty strong pinching on what feels like the right side of my uterus. I've definitely never had it before and it feels quite distinctive. You know when you go to the dentist to get work done, and they numb your gum with the topical gel, then give you the serious shot, and say "this will pinch" and it's like pressure and discomfort at a specific pinpoint? That's this. When spotting started on 8 DPO and coincided with the start of the sharp pinching, I hoped it was implantation. Instead, it's probably some medical thing that needs examined. I still have pinching as I sit here writing this, and it's tempting to imagine I'm just one of those women who bleed and the little bean is in there hanging on, but you can't have implantation when you have black-red clots and a temp drop and BFNs.
I know God has a plan for us. We don't know what the future holds, so it was questionable to try now anyway. There's a lot of personal upheaval coming next summer, so maybe it's better to not have a baby now. I'll guess we'll see when we get there
I guess I'll take comfort in the fact that I can drink at Tday next week when my uncle invariably starts talking politics. Meh.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. I'm experiencing the same problem as you, usually a temp drop at 7DPO and spotting 8DPO with my period coming after that. Maybe after a year your body will regulate a little more.
I know it's the worst advice ever, but stay positive. Maybe this year will just fly by with awesomeness!
Cincodemayo, I hope you head to a doc or at least do some reading on luteal phase defect - it can really impede conception. FX'd for you.
I graduate in May 2014. So yes, we can have a baby any time after that, but I'll just be beginning a really high powered career - pretty shitty timing. I'll also be 32 by the time we can even start trying again and we want 3-4 kids... Grrr.

Thanks for the FX. I've been to the dr, even though we've only been trying 4 months-I had been charting before that. Now I just have to figure out what we should do (meds, shots, what have you), and we have to wait until January for different insurance. Fun times.
I'm so sorry I'm a big believer in thinking there's a reason for everything, but it SUCKS when the universe won't clue you in on what the friggin' reasons are. ((hugs))

I'm so sorry tar. Please don't leave us, let us know how your body is adjusting as time goes on. I really believe things happen for a reason too. I also believe drinking in moderation can temporarily fix a sad day. ::hugs::

This! lol This is totally how we feel.
And now we're trying not to decode the universe: "well, if we didn't get pg now, could it mean X University for my final year [I'm waiting on admissions] or could it mean Y for your work transfer?" Have to stop doing that and reading too much into it.
cinco, will you post whenever you learn something new? thanks.

I'm sorry tar, that sucks balls! Hopefully you can use the year before you can try again to regulate your cycle to a super duper fertile pattern and you get knocked up as soon as you try again!
Ok, I've thought of an upside! Not having a baby in the fall means I can use all my spare time to do an incredible job interning for an employer. I'll choose my internship selectively to make sure it's someone I'd want to work for after graduation. They'll be so pleased with my work, they'll offer me a job, and they won't be worried when I get pg in my first year working for them bc I've already proven my worth to the team. Boom. Nailed it. (Please overlook any delusions in the preceding paragraph lol - just go with it.)

Awesome. I call these kind of periods my "self-improvement" times. Like when DH travels for weeks at a time, or I'm waiting for something to happen, I use it to focus on the things I've always wanted to get done. Like finishing my dissertation, or starting new projects....etc. Just think of all the zillions of things you could accomplish that won't be possible after baby time. In a year, you'll be so prepared and ahead of the game, it'll be stress free.

I'm sorry I can relate somewhat... H and I had to wait longer then we wanted because of his work. We didn't want to have a baby during his busy season, which was hard to decide, but best in the long run. Hang in there and hopefully the year goes fast for you
