My DH just told me he might have to fly home for a family emergency next week. That means no DH for the holiday, $600 on a plane ticket....AAAAaaannnnd we lose the tail end of my best days this cycle.
:-( :-( :-(
I know this makes me a bad person, but WHY NOW GOD?!?! I'm am irrationally cranky over this.
That means you get to spend $600 on fun stuff while he's gone, yes? Ok....maybe no. Aside from missing FW, I would love a few days home alone.
A couple of months ago (while on vacation), I got annoyed with my husband because he got the noro virus during my most fertile time. I was like - You're peeing out of your ass and barfing all night?? How am I supposed to get pregnant with you like this? Shiiit.....

Is it totally wrong that I ACTUALLY considered the turkey baster thing?!?! omg I've officially lost it...
Seriously, the FW thing pisses me off the most (duh) but I just remembered we have an event we're supposed to go to also that has been planned for ages. It's like, the worst timing. Ever!
This is just so freaking lame to know I'm out before I'm out, too! My brain is going like "whoa, mid-month bitterness is totally unnatural, you're usually cheerful until the 2ww, winecheery..." lol
Ugh. DH is traveling too. We tried as best we could last week, but with my irregular (and long) cycles I have no idea if that did anything. And the next few months will be full of travel apart as well. Boo.
...I totally gave a few thoughts to the turkey baster as well.....
Ugh cheery, that sucks! I totally get it though. What's even more annoying IMO is knowing about it a week in advance. If it's an emergency in the sense of, dude, I'm so sorry but I need to leave NOW, it's far easier to handle. When stuff like that happens to me, I can't help but think 'can't you just leave 2 or 3 days earlier/later so we can at least give it a shot'.

You're welcome!
Come to think of it, now that you say this, I don't think I can look at my uncle the same again. A few years ago he gave every woman in our family a turkey baster as a stocking stuffer.

Thanks all...for the laughs about a turkey baster (seriously I'm just going to LOL on Thursday) and for the support about being out before I even get started.
No Christmas present baby for me I mean technically, I'm right around O, (due Sunday) but my cm has been kind of scant this cycle (tmi) and I don't see the swimmers surviving too long if I O later.
I guess there's still hope, but that's only if O shows up on time, and it wouldn't surprise me if this was the cycle that didn't...because life just plays tricks sometimes.
Oh, and did I mention the plane ticket wasn't just $600, it was $700 :-| Who's drinkin with me?!
