I'm only 5 weeks pregnant, so this is obviously a long way off and not even a problem if we're having a girl, but DH and I have been talking about names long before we got a BFP.
One thing that DH and I have in common is that we both have the same middle name as our parents, and it is a tradition that we each separately wanted to continue.
That being said, DH takes it one step further and would like a boy to have the same initials as him as well, which severely limits our first name possiblities (at least the ones we like.)
The names that we seem to like the best end in "er". The problem is that the middle name ends in "er" and so does our last name.
WDYT of a name like "Carter Blank-er Blankblank-er"? or Cooper?
Too many "er"s? Or am I overthinking it? I like Colin too, but DH really loves Carter.
