What I love about this is that on the one hand, these people get pissed that someone comments that they've gained any weight (even if it's baby). They're always on these boards all "GOD! Someone asked me if I was having twins!" And then on the other hand--- they get pissed when people DON'T notice that they're pregnant or say that they couldn't tell.
I admit to being kind of upset when a friend told me that if she didn't know I was pregnant, she would think I was just getting fat. Not something to tell someone who was already fat with body issues.
Yeah, I was happy when people didn't notice. I don't want comments on the contents of my uterus, or people to get suddenly chatty when they otherwise wouldn't.
yea, i feel weird being so exposed. like, i can't hide my personal business.

Um, that is rude.
It's true though, you become public domain when you're pregnant.
"it's better than people thinking you're pregnant when you're just fat".
Haha!
I'm waiting for one of the guys at work to comment on the bloat I have going on. I'm an officer so it's quite noticeable when I put on a few pounds since I'm in uniform at minimum 40 hours a week. Although I'm tempted to say its last months Halloween candy if it does come up. Still only a limited amount of people know, especially with Wednesday's scare

It's like you go from just another person to a topic of conversation. Your bump is an instant conversation starter! Except it seems kinda fake because 9 times out of 10 you know they wouldn't have talked to you if you weren't obviously pregnant. It's like your body becomes semi-public property (which is where all the random advice comes in).
And the touching. Oh God, the touching. I may snap when it starts happening to me.
