Book club overload

I can't help but want to join every book club I read about. Does anyone else have this problem? I in no way have time to read everything I want each month. I think I need book-club-anonymous.

I'm the opposite -- I'm very resistant to reading books on anyone else's schedule. As soon as I know I'm supposed to read something for a certain time, I want to read everything but that book. The Wuthering Heights discussion here seems perfect for me because it's broken into small chunks, so I can read whatever else I want at the same time.

Oh yes, this is totally me, but I enjoy it because it keeps me reading new things all the time

Same here. Counting them up, I've said I'd try to join in on at least four new clubs. With all I want/have to read, there's no way I can do it all.

YES! I have this problem hardcore. I'm currently in 2 regular book clubs. And then I have my challenge. And then I see book clubs mentioned here (like Wuthering Heights) and want to join that one. And then one of my regular book clubs decided to read another book in between our "formal" book meeting.

I think I'm going to drop out of one of my book clubs because I don't like it at all... I don't like the people, I don't like the format, etc. Maybe that'll give me more time to join in the book clubs on this board.

I'm the same way. I actually prefer the freedom to read what I want, when I want.
