One of our cats peed in the crack between two cushions of our loveseat. I just noticed it this morning, but it's possible it's been there a couple of days (we know she peed on a snuggie that we washed, and we had originally though that was the source of the smell).
Anyway, the cushions are like a lighter brown soft leather, kind of like a bomber jacket. They are also kind of feather pillow topped, and then the bottom part is the foam + spring.
I can't remember the name of the manufacturer of our set, and the furniture store where we bought them has since gone out of business.
Any suggestions on how to deal with the smell and with getting the stain safely out of the leather? We've used Nature's Miracle for accidents on carpet, but is that safe on leather? I saw some website that mentioned doing that and then washing the leather with saddle soap? But I don't know if saddle soap is appropriate for softer leathers.
I see that youre in the Seattle area. I'd call da burns and blue sky cleaners, who do leather and upholstery cleaning, and see what they say. Try da first hen blue sky, but one of them should be able to help you. If is been a few days you might need a professional cleaning.
