I like this idea. For instance, I could share that somebody on my BMB is suggestion a secret FB group for people with EDD the week of July 15. Not only is it bizarre to have a week fb group, it is probably a little too early to have a fb group at all. We don't know each other.

Hahaha, I love the fb group drama.

My first BMB turned into mad drama when the fb group imploded into several splinters. People tried to warn the May board about it, but don't worry, they knew better and we are all trustworthy so it's cool to give out your name and cover photos and whatever else to total strangers on a public message board!

I am a SAMH. I gave up a $70,000 a year job with a company car (all the gas, maintenance and insurance was paid for too), with an unlimited cell phone, full benefits, etc after I had my daughter in 2010... It was a struggle to change our lifestyles completely and there are days I still wish I had that income but I wouldn't change the time I have with my daughter for anything. I even took her to a wonderful day care, part time, for a few months when she was 12 months old to see how she'd do and see if working part time was possible. It killed my husband even more than it killed me and it was even tough for me.

With all of that said being a SAHM mom is NOT for everyone. I've had friends who tried and after a few months went back to work because they couldn't do it.

Good luck! And if you decide to do it, it is worth it... You will never get this time back.
