I wish I had a nice spike in temp after O. Instead I have to sit here and wait for another day to confirm what I am 98% sure has already happened...because it's happened every other cycle...
I know they say there's nothing wrong with being a slow riser, buuuut it makes me feel defective still!
I just hate waiting three days instead of one for peace of mind/confirmation :N:
I think most people wait for three consecutive days of higher temps before they confirm O. I know FF does. Even though mine "spiked", it still took three days to confirm:-). So you're not alone!!!!

DH invited a friend and his wife over for Thanksgiving and they still haven't given us an answer. They're big eaters so whether or not they attend could make a difference in what I serve. Just decide already!

Yeah swizz your SIL sounds...funnn.
Also, I guess I didn't realize FF took that long with "regular" temp spike peeps. I feel slightly less annoyed lol.
But I still have a slow rise. Textbook slow...like the .2 increments. It doesn't help I still keep waking up before my alarm, and for me, seeing that extra .1-.2 difference really makes me happy! I don't have any low progesterone symptoms, and again, I know this is a normal pattern in some women. I guess I should be glad I ovulate at all really...

Who else wants to whine about something?
I'm a slow riser too, it's annoying. I've really been leaning on my other signs (CM and CP) during that week of the month to help determine when I O and I think it's really helping me :-)
Gar! I'm annoyed on behalf of all your frustrations!
I am also irritated with my body today. I've been thinking that I'm about to ovulate or that I am actually ovulating for a full week now after two rounds of positive opks, several days of cm that seemed about right, and a couple of different days of pain in my left ovary. The pain and cm are making themselves very apparent today (again!) and DH and I are tired! We're too old for this, lol! It's hard to not turn it into a chore when the window won't close, kwim? Of well, in that grand scheme of things, there are worse problems to have. Thanks for letting me complain

I had very little cm this time But I had a +opk, and other symptoms consistent with this time of the month for me. I'm fairly regular for someone just coming off the pill. I just always have doubt where I'm all "but what if this time??"...
Sorry you're slow too! It's nice to hear someone else is tho.

Slow riser here too. Some people's temp seems to shoot up, but mine meanders about, taking its sweet time to rise. I did my best with temping this cycle, and I did well for the first week or so, then I started waking at different times because I was a lot more tired when I went to bed, so my last few temps were open circles. I would NEVER ask for a chart stalk on the bump, because they would all give me a hard time about those open circles. I would be branded a bad temper!!
My gripe is that H ate the last piece of pumpkin bread, and now I have to wait until Thursday to have more, because the other loaf is for Thanksgiving. Boo!
I just realized that unless I ovulate a bit earlier than is average for me (which could happen) I will be ovulating while on our cruise. But I'll have to bring a paper chart or something because I think using the FF app will result in some kind of charges being in the Caribbean and all.
I really should just leave it, write down my temps, have a lot of sex and then put the data in the app when we get home. Because when it really comes down to it, what's going to happen will happen. But I'm just so Type A
Whenever I traveled I would just write down the temps on a piece of paper and chart it when I got back home. Enjoy your vacation and don't worry about it until you get back!

I agree with Honey on this one. Better yet, don't temp at all on vacay. I'm type A also...I hear you, BUT vacay sex is rad, andplusalso you're going to be having sex anyways whether you O or not simply because you're on a cruise in the Caribbean. If I'm not KU in one of the next two cycles, I won't be temping on vacay in Dec/Jan.

Agreed! I tried to continue charting on our cruise a few months ago, but the time zone change and random sleep/wake times completely threw me off. And then I lost my thermometer in a hotel, so I had to quit anyway. I think it really helped me relax on vacation, which I needed. I vote - don't temp at all! And have lots of nice vacation sex.
The only time I temped during my last vacay were the last 4 days because we were staying with DH's parents and the bedroom door had (frosted) glass AND the bed was squeeky to the point that the neighbors could hear it when you just turned over in your sleep, so I knew we would not be having sex there.
At the same time having as much temps as possible was important to me because of the probability of a CP the cycle before. Oh, and we had WiFi there, so I could use the app no problem!
IF you're going to have lots of sex and there's no very specific reason why you need the data (for a doctor or something) I'd just leave it at that and not temp.
