It was such a long process getting it that I forgot what MIL was even sending. In addition to some awesome kids' books in English for DD (my brain is ready to melt every night translating French-language books for DD at bedtime and she's bored with the Spanish and English books we've had for a long time) and other kid-related stuff that is cheaper/more widely available in the US, the Boden purse I ordered in March was there! Plus lots and lots of Sudafed and an Olay facial cleansing brush!
I'm pretty excited about the boxed Annie's Organic mac & cheese, too. This means I can be lazy about cooking on at least 3 nights in the near future without going out to spend a ton of money at a bistro.
Really, it's the little things in life that make me want to click my heels together.
Yayy! DH translates English books for DD (I know she's not even a year old yet) and even though it's easy stuff and he's fluent (We speak English at home) it's still hard on him some nights!

I am eternally grateful that there are more and more Spanish kids books available since we may end up in a predominantly English-speaking area. I can't imagine my child not speaking his own language!

I will be ordering a large amount of children's books from amazon.de when we get to that point. I'm studying elementary education so in general I like collecting books for future use.
