Two 18 month olds + live Christmas tree is a recipe for disaster, yes?

Did you have a fake tree when your littles were this little?
Did you on decorate the top half? I'm thinking that is what I will do. Or just get a tiny tree this year. I don't really have space to actually put a tree, and we spend Buenas Noches at my mom's house anyways, so we aren't even here on Christmas Day.
