No. We only used socks on hands. I just started using socks in September when it started getting chilly here. He was about 7 months. But I only use them when we go out because they're too slippery inside.
No in the winter I almost always dress her in footed onesies, pants with feet, or skirts with tights. On the rare occasions that her pants are open at the bottom, then she wears socks.
I tried to always get the pants with feet or put them in a sleep and play if it was chilly. For warm weather my babies were often in just a onesie. Old ladies in the grocery store did sometimes side eye, but whatever.
DD was born in March and wore footed sleepers or went barefoot until basically a month ago. She's still barefoot most of the time, but thats because she's discovered the fun of pulling socks off.
DS was born in June and we lived in FL. Inside, we kept the temps pretty cool so he would sport a onesie and some socks for a while. I also had a thing for finding the coolest socks around so I kept buying them and putting them on him. However, they weren't necessary. I just liked them.
Can someone link their favorite footed pants? They are SO hard to come by. I am finding them as part of sets over and over, with really tacky tops or onesies. I just want solid colored footed pants. Or striped!
If we were having a girl I would be able to do those pretty Baby Legs brand high socks or tights.
We did pants with feet. All the socks just fell off or she rubbed her feet together and they fell off. And yes, cloudbee, pants with feet are harder to come by. Try to find all in ones. (Shirt, pants, feet)

Children's place has a few pairs of footed pants that you can buy individually. I just saw them there yesterday. I searched high and low for footed pants in like March and had no luck because everyone had brought out summer stuff already by then or the footed pants were in sets and the feet were an ugly monkey or elephant.

Oh and DD wore babylegs with no socks for the first 4 months of her life unless we left the house. She was born at the end of October. Her feet never really got that cold and if they did get cold, I just put an A+A swaddle blanket around her feet.

DD was born in Feb and mostly wore onesies and babylegs. I would pull the baby legs over her feet a little, but we were either indoors and warm, or when we were out and about she was in the car seat or stroller with the shower cap cover to keep her toasty.

DS was a summer baby and while I was on maternity leave, no. Once he started at school (for some reason his room was really cold) and once the weather turned, then yes.
My feet get cold and I always wear socks in the fall/winter - I don't know why it would be any different for my baby, especially given that up until recently he was stationary most of the time and couldn't move around to get his circulation going.

Those trumpette socks have been the worst for us, lol. DH bought a package of pink and purple striped fuzzy socks from Walmart, and those stay on the best, if DD leaves them alone. The trumpette ones aren't tall enough, and they fall right off.
So say I don't have my kiddo in footed pajamas, but do put them in a sleep sack or sleep wrap. Are they fine without socks year-round in that case? Central AC is on in the summer, and heat is on in the winter. We have pretty well defined seasons up here.
Depends on the season. In winter baby wore sleepers, in summer nothing, in autumn and spring I was told off several times for not having something on their feet. IME socks don't stay on, ever, so if they're not wearing a footed sleeper and you want their feet covered they need socks and robeez. However, I could care less what other people put on their baby's feet.
