Good morning! Hope everyone is feeling well today.
I still have a nasty cough so that sucks. No real pregnancy symptoms other than fatigue and some minor food aversions, but I'm ready to be home in bed. Luckily I have Wed-Fri off. Snuggle time with baby!
I'm looking forward to making some delicious cheesy potatoes for Thursday (Gruyere cheese and caramelized onions in a potato bake). My MIL is bringing regular mashed potatoes, but I couldn't resist the excuse to make some truly decadent ones!
What are your plans for turkey day? Any foods you're looking forward to? How are you feeling this week?
Also, post any fun links in here. I found this lovely in Baby Showers. I always enjoy the reminders that showers are for first time moms, but the OP here does not.
I am doing ok! We are hosting for Thanksgiving, DH does most of the real cooking, I just handle the desserts (making a yellow cake with vanilla frosting and an apple pie this year - all are gluten free and vegan!).
The cheesy potatoes sounds great. Can you send me the recipe?
So. Delicious. I double this recipe and still rarely have leftovers.
Okay, it won't let me attach it (it's a pdf file that I tried changing to jpg but my computer skills are lacking). If you send me an email address I will happily send it along
I've also noticed that I'm much less emotional these days than I was a few weeks back. Anyone else?
I'm in the throes of the emotional rollercoaster, though my range seems limited to either normal or OMGFUCKINGRAGE! :@ I'm looking forward to getting to your point and leveling out so I stop feeling like I want to stab the walls for, you know, existing and stuff.
Ugh, so jealous of the June 4 secret group!! You guys are exclusive snobs!!!!
Do you guys get confused about how pregnant I am? I'm not much of a ticker person but on a board where everyone is different weeks pregnant, what if you all think I'm an imposter? I know a ticker would really make you believe I'm pregnant (I am pregnant).
I have been working all day on an argument for a hearing I'm doing on Thursday and I think I may be a little punchy. Punchy!

I went through that for a bit a few weeks ago, but it was impossible to tell if it was the hormones or the election. I'm thinking election.
I'm good! But H just strong-armed me into watching The Walking Dead (which I do love, I admit) while I was supposed to be trying for 2500 words in my NaNo novel. Sigh.
