We had our first appointment yesterday, and I measured at about six weeks one day. My doctor told me I'd need to come back at 12 weeks for bloodwork and NT scan stuff. When I went to the nurse to make an appointment, she said I'd need to come one more time before the 12 week appointment.
The doctor never mentioned it, and to be honest, my insurance coverage isn't great so these appointments cost me a fair amount. The nurse said the 10 week one would be identical to the one I had yesterday. Should I call and see if its really necessary and cancel if it's not?
Your supposed to have one per month. So I think at 10 wks would make sense. But also I would think they would move your 12 week appointment by one one or two weeks.

Yeah you might see if they can do this. I had my first appt at 6w2d and my next one is 11w3d when we are going to do the NT Scan.

I have an appointment every 4 weeks. On top of that, I have had the NT scan and the anatomy scan. In the coming weeks, I will also have my glucose screening test which will be booked separately from my regular appointments.
My first regular appointment was around 8 weeks, NT scan at almost 11, another regular appointment at 12 weeks, and so on. I would assume that if you had your appointment at 6 weeks, then 10 weeks and the NT scan any time b/w 11-13 weeks sounds right to me. Sometimes I have two appointments a week apart because my doctor does not do my scans.
